How to write a review on Google:
If you have a Google account or use Gmail, you can write a Google review.
Read these instructions:
How to do it:
- First, login to your Google/Gmail account (if you aren’t logged in already).
- Second, click this link. It will take you to a Google Maps page.
- On the left hand side of the maps screen, scroll down until you see a button (like the one shown in the photo) that says Write a review.
If your investigation was confidential or sensitive:
- Write your review in general terms. Do not include details of your specific case in the review.
- Keep in mind that there is no way to write an anonymous review. Your full name will be published.
How to write a review on Facebook:
If you have a Facebook page, you can write a Facebook review.

- This link will take you to the Martin Investigative Services Facebook page.
- On the left hand side of the screen, click Reviews.
- Facebook will ask you Do You recommend Martin Investigative? Click Yes, then write your review.

How to write a review on Yelp:
We highly recommend you write a review on Google instead. Here’s why:
Yelp hides reviews that are written by people that only occasionally write Yelp reviews.
This practice is disheartening because it silences regular people who put the time and effort into sharing some positive words.
Hiding reviews wastes your time, and it doesn’t help anyone.
If you insist, here’s how to do it.
If you’re an active Yelper, you probably know how to write a review.
Regardless, here’s some instructions:
- First, login to your Yelp account (if you aren’t logged in already).
- This link will take you to the Martin Investigative Services page on Yelp.
- Click the big red button at the top that says Write a Review and leave a 5-star review.
